Stop Making Sense is the soundtrack to what is widely regarded as the greatest concert film of all time. Filmed by Jonathan Demme at the height of the band’s popularity, the movie never shows the audience (except for very briefly at the end). Instead, it focuses on the expanded band’s quirky and incessant energy. This soundtrack contains only 9 of the 18 songs performed at the show. The 40th anniversary remaster contains all 18.
